It is a yearly wall calendar I produce to help rescue groups raise money.

See
CALENDARS to get an example of the 2008 calendar.
*You sign up with me to be a participating group.
This is absolutely free to you!  I want you to raise money, not spend it on me.

*I add you to my website.
I will link to your group's website or Petfinder page.
You will be listed by the state(s) your group works in.

*In August, the calendars are ready to go!
ONE-  People order the calendars from my website.

This couldn't be easier.  You link to my website and tell your supporters to order a
calendar, choosing YOUR group as the beneficiary of the donation.

They order from this website using PayPal.

The donation is $15 for the calendar, plus shipping.

Your group gets $10 for each calendar ordered!
I keep a running total of the amount of donations your group earns.

In early February, I mail out a check to you for the total.
TWO-  You order calendars from me directly.

For rescue groups, I only charge cost, which is $5 per calendar plus shipping.

You then can offer the calendars at your facility or rescue events, asking for
whatever donation amount you'd like, keeping everything you take in.

THIS IS IN NO WAY AN OBLIGATION TO PARTICIPATE.
Just a suggestion to help raise more money.
Having calendars on hand is great for impulse buying!
When people can personally flip through the calendar, they are more likely to
want one!

"Four Paws" Rescue in Utah used this technique:  They told people "make a
donation of $15
OR MORE and get a free calendar!"  This brought in well over the
$15 amount per calendar!

Many groups sold out to their volunteers alone!

When you offer the calendars yourself, you get to keep all the money right away,
instead of having to wait for me to total everything in February.

There is no minimum to order.  Start small and get more later when you sell out.
I don't want anyone with left over calendars, so no pressure!
Groups who raised the most money these last two years used some of these ideas:

Really EYE CATCHING notice about the calendars on the HOME page of their
websites with a clear link to my website.  Generally using the picture of the cover of
the calendar.  People are drawn to images before words!

Mention in mailers.  "Old Dog Haven" in Washington took the sample pictures I sent
them for the calendar and put it in their newsletter.  They earned the most
donations of any group online!

Don't have the budget for a mailer?  What about
E-mailers?  Contact your
supporters with an inexpensive email notice including a link to my site.

Posters, Flyers!  I will send you jpegs of the calendar for you to use to advertise.
