| Founded by two Kansas dog lovers who faced dozens of homeless pit bulls daily that had to be turned away for lack of space and funding, Kansas Pit Bull Rescue was formed to assist pit bull type dogs in high-kill animal control facilities in the Midwest. With significant help from supporters and donors, KPR placed over a hundred needy Pit Bulls into responsible forever homes. As we met more local bully lovers, KPR expanded and created Mid-America Bully Breed Rescue We are an all volunteer run foster home network. With hard work, dedication, and charitable donations, we believe MABBR will have a tremendous impact on the bully breed dogs in the Midwest. Our mission is to responsibly place abandoned Incredi-Bulls into forever homes, promote responsible dog ownership, promote breed-neutral dog policies, and educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering pets. MABBR has joined forces with several other non-profit groups in the Midwest that support similar goals. Together we expect to more effectively raise awareness on these issues. |

| The mission of the MABTR is to rescue and re-home abandoned Boston Terriers and to persuade those interested in purchasing a dog, to “adopt, and not shop”, meaning to not purchase a dog or puppy from a puppy mill, or puppy mill-supplied pet store, but instead, to adopt a homeless dog to save a life." |
