The purpose of the Baypath Humane Society
is to facilitate the placement of stray
and unwanted animals and pets in
desirable homes; to establish and maintain
an animal shelter and associated procedures
which promote the health, care and
adoption of these animals;
and to educate adopters and the local public
on proper pet care and handling,
over population and the
prevention of cruelty to animals.
Beaks and Noses is not a shelter,
but a rescue, which means all our birds
and dogs are in a home environment.
All our dogs are fully vetted including spay
or neuter prior to adoption.
We have an Avian Vet that comes to my
home periodically to examine our parrots.
We do charge a small donation for the
animals which goes right back into their
food, housing and vet bills.
We also accept peoples pets
who they can no longer keep.
The Friends of Attleboro Animal Shelter
(FAAS) is a non-profit, all volunteer
501 (c) 3organization dedicated to
providing financial and volunteer support to
the Attleboro Animal Shelter for the care
and well-being of the hundreds of
unwanted, stray and needy cats and dogs
that annually pass through the shelter.
On a daily basis, our volunteers provide
these homeless cats and dogs with
nourishment, medical treatment, affection,
and most of all, help in finding
a loving new home.
We will find  new homes for the animal victims
that are homeless/unwanted, neglected/abused,
strays, and given up by their previous owner.

To broaden clinic participation in the Spay/Neuter
program and develop educational information on
this important issue.

To Provide Effective Means for the
Prevention  of Cruelty, and promote
Humane Treatment of ALL ANIMALS.
Participating in lobbying efforts on Beacon Hill to
improve the conditions for  the humane treatment
of animals and animal rights/welfare legislation in
Massachusetts and throughout the world.

To educate throughout the communities about the
importance of "how to co-exist with
animals/wildlife" because of the "DEPLETION" of
their "HABITAT/ENVIRONMENT" in
Massachusetts and in other states.
MassPaws
The Massachusetts
Progressive
Animal Watchdog Society Inc.
Lending a watchful eye and a helping hand
to our animal friends in Massachusetts.

MassPaws was organized in 2001
as a group of long term animal welfare
volunteers and professionals
committed to working on the most
compelling animal issues in Massachusetts,
with the goal of ending the suffering of
destruction of cats, dogs, wildlife and animals in
entertainment and research.

Primary activities include:
humane education,
rescue of cats and dogs from
Terminal impoundment and
life threatening situations,
foster care and adoptions,
humane feral cat management utilizing
trap-inoculate-neuter protocols
and lending support and networking
to other humane organizations.
Founded in 1989,
the People for Animals League
is a private, non-profit organization
dedicated to helping animals in
local communities.
We are striving to develop empathy
and compassion, increase understanding,
and promote responsibility toward animals.
We coordinate the placement of pets into
appropriate homes, provide humane
educational programs to the community,
assist with lost and found pets,
and encourage spaying and neutering
of animals to control population.
We are an independent rescue group
out of Massachusetts.
We rescue dogs from area high kill shelters
and or private owners and
give them another chance at life.
We are not a shelter,
we foster dogs in private homes.
We will adopt out to surrounding states,
including Massachusetts, Rhode Island,
Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire,
Vermont, & New York.
Under the direction of Animal Control Officer,
Liz Botelho, the Swansea Animal Shelter
provides care and shelter to an annual census of
175 - 200 stray and lost animals per year.
Happily, 85-90% of these animals were returned
to their owners or found
new safe and loving homes!
With the aid of volunteers and the
Animal Control team, the little "extras"
of home are provided.
Daily walks, socialization, treats
and even car rides help make the time spent
at the shelter more comfortable for residents.
Dedicated to the belief that all life has value,
the Swansea Animal Shelter looks forward to
providing a safe and caring environment for all
that pass through its doors.
